Role Overview: As a Senior Computational Engineer, you will lead the enhancement and scaling of VVE’s core algorithms and technologies, driving their integration into practical, high-impact solutions. You’ll collaborate with a team of top-tier engineers, scientists, and industry experts to optimize our computational frameworks and expand their applications.
Responsibilities:
- Enhance and optimize VVE’s advanced pseudo-inverse algorithms for scalability and efficiency in real-world use cases.
- Develop robust solutions for ill-conditioned matrix computations and complex differential equations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate core technologies into AI, machine learning, and engineering applications.
- Identify new mathematical approaches and computational techniques to solve emerging challenges in industries like healthcare, finance, and energy.
- Conduct rigorous performance benchmarking against industry standards (e.g., NumPy) and ensure near machine-precision accuracy.
- Design and implement scalable architectures for software tools, APIs, and platforms leveraging VVE’s core capabilities.
- Lead technical innovation efforts, including R&D initiatives and cutting-edge experimentation.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in computational mathematics, algorithm development, or a similar role.
- Deep expertise in linear algebra, numerical methods, and solving ill-conditioned systems.
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, or MATLAB.
- Proven ability to work with high-dimensional datasets and optimize complex algorithms for performance.
- Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and experience integrating mathematical models into AI pipelines is a plus.
- Track record of successfully leading technical projects from concept to deployment.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
